Disconnect Facebook or Instagram
- Sign in to SM Studio.
- Select the organization that owns the connection.
- Open Settings → Connections.
- Choose the Facebook or Instagram connection and select Disconnect.
This deletes the stored connection and prevents future publishing through it. It does not remove posts already published to Facebook or Instagram.
Remove SM Studio from Meta
You may also remove SM Studio through your Facebook or Instagram settings for connected apps and business integrations. Removing access at Meta invalidates future API access, but you should still disconnect inside SM Studio or submit a deletion request so we can remove the stored connection record.
Request account or personal-data deletion
Email privacy@kankatech.com from the email address associated with your account. Include your name, account email, and organization name. Do not send passwords or social access tokens.
We may ask for additional information to verify identity and authority, particularly where organization data affects other members. We will confirm receipt and process verified requests within the period required by applicable law.
What is deleted
Depending on the scope and your organization role, deletion can include account information, memberships, social connection records and encrypted tokens, project content, uploaded assets, generated content, comments, and operational records linked to the account.
What may remain temporarily
Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups until normal rotation completes. We may retain limited security, transaction, or legal records where required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. Published social posts remain on the destination platform until removed there.
